The world knows how committed Daniel Cormier is when he steps inside the octagon, but very few know he is equally chucklesome outside the cage.
His fans follow his podcasts with ESPN’s Ariel Helwani and the banter duo share coupled with a detailed analysis of fights and fighters. In a recent podcast, Daniel Cormier took a jibe at Helwani in his own wacky way.

DC said, “Hey, but how about you doing shows with everybody? Listen, I mean, I turned away, you’re on a show, then I turn and look away on the show with Chael, then I look and you’re doing a post-fight show with Brett.
“I’m like so I can’t even look away for one second because you running around with everybody, you are a pretty girl at the prom that just wants to take all the dates.”
He mocked Helwani for doing analysis shows constantly with every combat sports personality out there. ‘DC’ referred to Ariel as a pretty girl at a prom night who is keen to book all the suitable dates. Ariel later called himself a ‘sidepiece’ over DC’s remarks.

‘DC’ has shared many light-hearted moments with his friends and opponents. Both Helwani and DC have had several funny moments on their podcast. At one of their shows, the duo left the audience in splits when they talked about Booker T challenging DC for a fight.
