‘The Notorious’ has many records in the UFC. However, he has been particularly successful in promoting and selling massive events in the UFC. The Irishman holds the record for the biggest PPV event in UFC history. His fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 sold well over 2 million PPVs.
Despite not being the same dominant force he once used to be, McGregor can still put on insane numbers in terms of PPV buys. His comeback fight against Dustin Poirier in January this year sold an impressive 1.6 million PPV buys. Furthermore, the rematch and the final fight in the trilogy sold a whopping 1.8 million PPVs, which makes it the second most successful PPV in UFC history.
