The UFC has always prided itself on having the best fighters on the planet. Being one of the first promotions to promote MMA, the UFC has built a cult following and is the ultimate proving ground for most athletes. There have been several instances where champions from other organizations have crossed over but have not succeeded in the UFC.
One of the main things that separates the UFC from its competitors is the wide-ranging scouting and recruiting that the promotion does. Dana White and his team are always on the hunt for new talent and scout fighters from all corners of the globe. Some of these fighters go on to become the face of the UFC while others don’t fare as well.
However, it is the constant search for new talent and giving fighters the opportunity to prove themselves that makes the promotion as good as it is.
