At UFC 258 this weekend, Kamaru Usman put on a brilliant display to retain his welterweight title, overcoming adversity early in the fight. However, despite a brilliant performance, he was perhaps overshadowed by the co-main event on the night. Alexa Grasso put on a fantastic display as she secured an impressive unanimous decision win over a tough challenge in ‘The Future’.
Going into the fight, Barber had just suffered her first loss as a professional. Therefore, both fans and pundits alike were excited to see if she would be able to bounce back against a tough opponent in Grasso.
Even though ‘The Future’ put on a commendable performance, she was out-struck by the Mexican, who seemed to have made leaps and bounds in her striking technique that was already excellent to begin with.
