“Dana White and I, we made millions of dollars together,” Woodley said. “Don’t get that twisted. Don’t think that I didn’t make a fortune in the UFC. But, at the end of the day, God willing, it’s this time where I’m actually gonna get paid where I feel like, at this moment of my life, I’m deserving to get paid.”
“I’m going to get paid a handsome purse. I’m gonna get paid crazy pay-per-view points because it will be the biggest pay-per-view,” he added.

Although Woodley is claiming that he received good money from UFC, he never really had a great relationship with the UFC supremo. Even during his run in the promotion, the duo often had disagreements. White had even called Woodley’s claims of getting the biggest payday of his career as ‘bulls**t’.
What did Dana White say about Tyron Woodley vs Jake Paul?
In recent times, UFC fighters’ paychecks have gained a lot of attention. Some fighters have publicly said that they are not getting enough from the promotion. An elite fighter like Jon Jones has been sitting inactive since February 2020 because of his non-negotiations with UFC over paychecks.
Francis Ngannou, too, had raised doubts after Logan Paul received a hefty paycheck against Floyd Mayweather. So, when White was made aware of Woodley’s claims of getting the biggest payday against Jake Paul, he launched a scathing attack.
“Tyron Woodley’s 40 years old, OK? He hasn’t won a fight in three years in something that he’s actually supposed to be good at. Now, he’s gonna go box,” White told reporters after UFC 263.

“How do you sell that fight? Lots of other things other than the s**t that should matter…’making millions of dollars’ and ‘This is the biggest payday ever,’ and Jake Paul will say mean things about me, and ‘pay your fighters,’ and you guys just f**kin’ (fall) right into it and love it. It’s all bulls**t,” he added. (via MMA News)
