Practicing Muay Thai from a young age gave the Swedish competitor the reputation as one of the division’s heaviest hitters. Tetsuka wants to feel that power first-hand during their clash at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

“He [has] got strong finishing power, a killer instinct. He [has] got finishing power, but I think he’s telegraphic,” the Tochigi native said. “He has individual strengths, but I think it’s not very smooth when it comes together.”
“If I don’t get caught up in his style, I think I have a shot. We’ll see which style is superior. That said, I’m not going to run away from his striking. I have more confidence in my striking than his.”
Tetsuka also wants to remind everyone why he carries the “Japanese Beast” moniker.

The Pancrase Welterweight World Champion has finished seven bouts via knockout since turning professional in November 2015. In his most recent outing, the Yamada Dojo-TGFC star hammered his way past former ONE Welterweight World Title challenger Agilan “Alligator” Thani.
The 31-year-old martial artist thinks he could achieve a similar result and boasts that he wants to break Kadestam’s will through striking.
“I’ll crush him there. I’ll crush his confidence. I’m going to show the world what the ‘Japanese Beast’ is all about,” he warned.

If Tetsuka defeats “The Bandit,” he believes that he’s in line to take on divisional king Kiamrian “Brazen” Abbasov.
“I’ll win this, and it’s on to the title. I’m getting closer,” Tetsuka noted.
