Kevin Ferguson, popularly known by his street name, Kimbo Slice, recently became viral again. The late Bahamian Mixed Martial Artist had a brief acting stint as well. Credited with over 7 movies to his name, his most popular one by far has arguably got to be Blood and Bone.

Starring along with Hollywood action star Michael Jai White, this 2009 movie is about an ex-con taking the underworld fighting scene by storm. The recently resurfaced behind the scenes video went viral recently, bringing back some emotional #ripkimbo from fans.

Kimbo Slice Tricked – MJ plays mind games

If you’ve been on TikTok lately, and follow street fighting a bit – you will definitely have come across this viral reel by now. If you haven’t watched it so far – here’s a short glimpse. MJ asks Kimbo about which his fastest hand is, to which Kimbo aptly notes his powerful Left hook being the best.  MJ then asks Kimbo to put up his left hand, and attempt to dodge his jabs.


Kimbo dodges the first two with ease, after which MJ reveals the trick under his sleeve. He slows the pace down, and telegraphs the punch in advance. This change of pace and mind game tricks kimbo, and the third punch caught his left hand unaware as he guffaws in surprise.

“This guy is the real deal” says Kimbo as this short 30 second clip ends.

“Was doing a part where Mike took a shank and stabbed me with it.” Says the MMA fighter in the video. “He threw a quick punch, and bam landed me right in the dome.” he added while pointing to his nose “that punch was real.”

This clip then ends with MJ and Kimbo smiling and Kimbo saying how he should have “seen it coming”.

The legendary MMA fighter unfortunately passed away untimely at the age of 42 due to “congestive heart failure”. He was well-known for his documented street brawls, and his amazing MMA career. His 8 bouts resulted in 5 wins, 2 losses and 1 No Contest. He also boxed a total of 7 times, with all 7 ending in his favor.

As the fans said in this viral video – Kimbo Slice will be forever missed.
