The New York Yankees are currently facing a significant crisis that is developing. Their hitters have become quiet and the pitchers struggle to escape difficult situations. This has caused them to take drastic action to speed up the man’s return, as his absence is what caused this chaos. As Giancarlo Stanton prepares to return, the New York Yankees are gearing up to take a colossal risk.

With the Yankees preparing for their games after the All-Star break, everyone should be waiting to see Giancarlo Stanton back in action. The latest information comes from Manager Aaron Boone who has recently released a statement that somehow made fans hopeful.

Nobody could have predicted Big G’s significance for the Pinstripes this season. Nevertheless, his hamstring injury highlighted his real importance to the team. Despite receiving a left hamstring strain injury on the 23 of June, Stanton appears to be on the gradual journey of recovery.

Boone managed the fans’ expectations by saying that Stanton is not expected to return after the break in what seemed more like a consolation than an actual statement of fact. The manager suggested Stanton might come back “shortly,” meaning he could return without going to the minor league for a recovery.

Giancarlo Stanton’s return is awaited

Whether to go through a rehab assignment can only be determined based on the Yankees’ game plan. Currently, there is no necessity to implement Giancarlo Stanton to play in the field; therefore, the team is going to apply unique techniques, such as the Trajekt machine, to keep Stanton in the highest form. Still, it is a risk, but a calculated one that has been taken based on the belief that Stanton can perform just as well despite not being given a chance to play many games.

Is bringing back Giancarlo Stanton without rehab a smart move or a desperate gamble by the Yankees?

Have an interesting take?

This season has been all about Stanton making a comeback and reclaiming his status as one of the best pitchers in the league. Before the injury, he was fine-tuning his Yankees performance with impressive highs in batting 246, home runs 18, and running an overall 45 runs in 69 games. Had he been on the team earlier, fans would never have imagined this time that their favorite team would be experiencing some dry spell with their performance, therefore making Stanton an essential asset on the team.

As the Yankees prepare to resume their season on July 19th, the question remains: will Stanton make a return to the field? Otherwise, it could go up to August, depending on his recovery process, whether he will go to play soon or not.

How did Giancarlo Stanton get hurt?

Juan Soto felt discomfort on a pitch in the third inning Tuesday night and almost immediately flashed a worrisome look of pain. The Yankees star finished the game and played in the Wednesday game, being 2-for-4 in a very important 2-1 victory against the Rays.

However, the uneven-looking and uncomfortable swing was a result of a right-hand discomfort that Soto is still experiencing after he hit the ground against the Blue Jays on June 28. Soto homered a few innings after initially injuring the hand and was removed from the lineup the next day because he felt he could not grip the bat properly. The team still has not decided whether Stanton, who has been sidelined with a hamstring strain since June 22, will require a minor league tune-up before the major league activation.

Stanton was out for six weeks due to the hamstring strain last season, yet he managed to take the field in only one rehab game before rejoining the Yankees. He homered and doubled in his first two games back, but then got into a slump. As for now, supporters are holding onto optimism, eagerly waiting for the comeback of their favorite power hitter and the impact he has on their hopes for a championship.
