The Oakland Athletics’ move to Las Vegas seems to come closer with every update. As the weeks go by, fans have continued what seems to be a futile protest against the shift. This has led to resistance against the Vegas relocation taking a backseat. But there are still fans trying to keep it from happening. In the latest move, a former WWE star tried to reignite a reverse boycott.?

In recent weeks, the stadium has seen a massive update with the Nevada government approving it. Now, there seems to be a process for 75 percent support going on in the background. Amidst this dying protest against the move, a former WWE star has joined the movement.

Former WWE Star Gangrel Joins the Oakland Athletics? ?Sell? Movement

While doing the reverse boycott and showing up to watch Athletics games, fans started a ?Sell? movement. People against the team?s proposed shift to Las Vegas wore a green t-shirt with the word sell on it. It acted as a message for team owner John Fisher and displayed fans? displeasure with the Las Vegas relocation. Former WWE star Gangrel has now joined the movement and donned the t-shirt in a picture on Twitter.

In a Tweet, he said, ?Wanted to show my love and support for all the #oaklandathletics fans! My Bay Area family Marie Montalvo-Hernandez and Tony and Gabe, sent me this an I am proud to wear it and support the movement! #sell stay in Oakland!? Although the movement has died down a bit, this will help keep fans upbeat in desperate times.?

The public funding is approved, and the stadium has been signed off for by the Nevada Government. At this point, the relocation to Las Vegas looks closer than ever before.
