Jennifer Lopez has attracted much attention for her dating life. Especially for her 4-year relationship with Alex Rodriguez and the saga with Ben Affleck. JLo dated the Oscar-winning actor and director for two years, and they gained immense publicity. Whereas during the early days of her relationship with A-Rod, top podcaster and UFC commentator Joe Rogan made a controversial statement about her relationship with Affleck. 

In a YouTube conversation on JRE Clips, Rogan sat down to hilarious rant about Jennifer Lopez. The discussion involved the screenplay of JLo’s past relationships. Joe’s interest lied in commenting upon Jenifer’s relation with A-Rod and Affleck. The UFC commentator went as far as making personal comments on JLo’s body and her relationships.

Joe Rogan once made questionable Jennifer Lopez statements

When Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez first started dating, mass media coverage existed. Many tabloids and even podcasts covered the topic. Joe Rogan decided to comment on her relationship with Ben Affleck while discussing JLo’s dating life. He said Affleck could not handle a woman like Lopez before describing her using questionable words. Furthermore, he seemed to love that she was dating A-Rod then. 

During his podcast, Rogan said, “Jennifer Lopez obviously, besides being beautiful and having a body like some sort of a test tube person, some lab-created super freak. Obviously, she knows how to throw that thing, she knows how to throw that thing.” He then commented on how her relationship with Affleck fizzled out but could work out with A-Rod. “Sometimes they work. Sometimes they’re compatible. Here’s my thing. This Alex Rodriguez guy that she’s with, super athlete, smashes it. Obviously seems to be working.”

The UFC commentator did not believe Affleck could make JLo happy. Instead, he thought that the New York Yankees legend was a better fit. He also said some controversial things about her relationship with A-Rod at the time. But it all went against what he predicted. 

JLo left A-Rod and got back together with Affleck

In April 2021, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez announced their shocking breakup. Less than four months later, she made her relationship with Affleck official on Instagram. So although Joe Rogan doubted Affleck’s ability to make JLo happy, the two ended up back together. Furthermore, they are now happily married and enjoying life together. The Oscar-winning actor has even inspired Lopez to release new music.
