Multiple sports mean multiple people on top. The late 1990s and early 2000s were the time when athletes from different games were on top. In baseball, it was the New York Yankees star player Derek Jeter. While in tennis, it was Serena Williams. On the other hand, NBA’s star on top at the time was Michael Jordan.

And the fact that they are all friends took roasting and mocking each other to a whole other level. That’s what happened when shortstop Derek Jeter sat down with Tennis star Serena Williams and NBA legend Michael Jordan for an interview with Ahmad Rashad.
The players talked about multiple things during the interview. It included them talking about what they love the most, their dynasties, Jeter mocking Williams, and many other things.
Derek Jeter poked Serena Williams
The bond between the siblings is mostly a fight-love one. Therefore, having some fights is quite normal. Because of this, when Serena was talking about her sister, Jeter chimed in to ask her about fighting with her.
In Jeter’s words, “Did you and your sister fight? That’s what I want to know. How much talking goes on when you’re playing with each other?” Then came the Tennis star’s reply that made Jeter shake his head.
She said, “We do not fight.” To this, Jeter simply said, “I don’t buy it.” Because that is the most natural thing; siblings do fight. And especially when they are competing against each other.

But Williams went on to say that she and her sister, Venus Williams, have never really fought. Even then, Jeter did not believe her. Maybe Serena and Venus’s case is a rare one where they actually did not fight. But the shortstop had to take that once-in-a-lifetime chance, and so he asked her about it.
Jeter also once put Williams on the spot with a baseball question
While talking about their dynasties, Jeter took a dig at the tennis star for rooting for Jeter’s opposition team, Miami Marlins.

Even when Williams said that she went to the game just because she was in Florida, he said that he’d seen her cheering for the Marlins. Because Jeter was playing that game, she couldn’t deny it.
