Cut4 recently posted a video on X, formerly Twitter, that showed Mookie Betts rolling out the rankings with a carefully crafted, professional yet cheerful introduction. He says, “Today, I’m doing blind rankings on how other athletes would perform in my sport.”

Betts ranked French basketball player Victor Wembanyama in the last position of fifth, stating that “Wemby” is too big to be very good at baseball. Lionel Messi, soccer legend, got placed in the fourth spot after much consideration that was reflected on Betts’ face.

The third position was given out to F1 racer Lewis Hamilton; footballer Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs secured the second position, obviously for his much-renowned ability to read the players in front of him.

Mookie Betts was almost done with the list when the person behind the camera asked him how Pete Weber, the pro bowler, would score in the game. Betts gave out one of his signature laughs and answered, “I lost; we lost!” His reply naturally posts Weber in the first position, a name he’s more than familiar with because of their shared love of bowling.
