Messi changed the sporting spectrum in the state by signing a deal worth $150 million. Now he is influencing others as sports teams look to benefit from his success story. But it did not materialize for the Miami Marlins, who had a poor day at the office.

Recently, the Marlins faced a sweep against the Baltimore Orioles after losing the last encounter of the series. The Marlins tried to take inspiration from Messi’s success by putting in a great effort in the final inning but failed to win the game.
