Days after a WWE star tried to reignite the faded-away, reverse boycott, Oakland fans received an unwanted update. The Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL and Vegas Golden Knights of the NHL seemingly view the Athletics? move in a positive light. Players from both teams have come out in support of the relocation while hoping to further build up the strip as a sports destination. This comes as unwanted news for Oakland fans as they desperately pray for the team to stay. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported on this latest update as a move edges to a conclusion.?

According to the Review-Journal, Raiders defensive end, Maxx Crosby said, ?I think it?s huge. Being in Oakland for a year, I got to see how that fan base was, and Oakland was incredible. They?re just going to bring more fans and more attention to the city.?

Knights star Jack Eichel also chimed in, saying, ?We have great fans here, and I?m sure they would love to have a baseball team here.? He further said, ?As a Vegas resident now, I would love to have a Major League Baseball team here. I think it would be great for the community.??

The Athletics are yet to find a temporary stadium that they would play in while the $1.5 billion arena in Vegas is being built. There are a few locations tipped for now, but a final decision has to be made. Furthermore, the move requires approval from 75% of the MLB team owners before being finalized. But the stadium was approved by the Nevada Government recently, a big step in the right direction.?
