The whole basis of the theme of the Mission: Impossible franchise is in its title. And Tom Cruise’s signature run of course also attracts attention. And who understands running better than athletes? OBJ, Morgan, and Cruz each understand the quickness and agility each of their sports requires of them. In an advertisement promoting MI 7,?the three players appear together to encourage fans to go watch it.

While Morgan and Beckham are veterans of the game, De La Cruz had only played 27 MLB games when he was tapped for the commercial. It starts with Beckham saying to the camera, “We’re all on a mission.”

To which Morgan adds, “Make the impossible, possible.” The video cuts back to the Ravens player, “It takes hard work.” Then De La Cruz joins the melee, “Training.” The SD Wave FC player adds, “And inspiration.”

The video is interspersed with clips of the three athletes playing, as well as Tom Cruise in the film. They watch the actor do fantastic stunts, applauding his performance. De La Cruz tells the camera, “But it all comes down to one thing.”
