Sanders mind-blowingly played in the NFL and MLB at the same time, even going to games for both sports on the same days sometimes. Going from his active days, Prime Time could probably juggle the two sports once again. This time, only one will be the majors, while the other will be college football. Not to say that it won’t be a difficult task, but should he put his mind to it, many will be eagerly waiting to lend a hand. However, that is, if the ex-footballer ever decides to do it.

Fans of the Colorado Buffaloes were so eager to get Deion Sanders on their team that they rallied to make it happen. The university signed him to a $29.5 million contract as a football coach, even when they didn’t have the funds to spare. However, the college was confident they would get the money somehow and their fans were all in for support. They raised a record $28 million in donations, indicating just how much they strongly believed in Coach Prime.

Bronx fans are not lacking in intensity but will they be able to match Colorado? Should Sanders decide to join the Yankees, it would most likely not be in a coaching position. New Yorkers have a bone to pick with the team’s management, and they want Sanders to replace GM Brian Cashman. The question is, how will the Yankees make it happen?

In the meanwhile, the coach is looking for baseball to make a comeback in his city.

Sanders Confident in Baseball’s Future at Colorado Boulder

Since 1980, Colorado Boulder has not seen the Buffaloes titles bestowed on a baseball team. Budget cuts forced the school to cut down on unprofitable teams but Deion Sanders believes it’s all about to change. His joining the football team has already made waves in the community and he believes it could influence baseball too.

Sanders reinforced this belief during his weekly radio show on August 31st, “We going to command so much revenue for this university that we’re going to have a baseball team. That’s the dream.”

Whether or not the Buffaloes make it happen for their brothers in baseball is something only time will tell. But wouldn’t it be fantastic to bring back the sport to Colorado?
