The Aaron Rodgers trade has fans and sports analysts reacting and sharing their opinion. One of these people is none other than Lenny Dykstra, former 3-time MLB All-star and one-time World Series Champion. But Dykstra didn’t react with shock as most people did, and he didn’t talk about Rodgers. Instead, he trolled Jets quarterback Zach Wilson by asking his mother how she felt about the trade. If and when Rodgers joins the Jets, Wilson will lose his starting position and will be relegated to a bench role.

In a Tweet, Dykstra said, “How is @ZachWilson’s mom taking the news? Hope she’ll be OK”. This is not the first time Dykstra has trolled someone on social media. He even called out the First Lady of the United States, Jill Biden, after the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl loss. But getting back to Rodgers’ trade to the Jets, it will interesting to see the impact it leaves.

With Rodgers set to join the Jets, the Packers will more than likely make 2020 first-round pick Jordan Love their starting Quarterback. Picking Love in the draft that year shocked many, considering that Rodgers was still playing at an elite level. But the Packers have been here before.
The Packers have been in this situation before
The Green Bay Packers are in familiar territory. They lost a franchise quarterback in a similar fashion 15 years ago. Yes, that’s right, the same situation occurred with Packers legend Brett Favre in 2008. They traded him away for a draft pick and pushed Aaron Rodgers to be their starter.

Furthermore, another eerie fact is that Favre was 39 when he got traded away and Rodgers is 39 right now. But Rodgers is in much better form than Favre was when he got traded. What do you think about the Aaron Rodgers trade to the New York Jets? Kindly share your thoughts on the topic down below.
