Tom Brady has been making the headlines for a variety of reasons over the last few months. He retired from the NFL for the second and likely final time. After that, more details regarding his 10-year contract with FOX have come to light. But most recently, he shared a sweet message for his niece, who recently showed off her softball skills.

Maya Brady is Tom’s niece and is a softball star at UCLA, with some major skills in the sport. She is Tom’s sister’s daughter and has a close relationship with the NFL legend. This recent message from the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback was a sweet gesture.

Since retiring for the second time, Tom Brady has been enjoying his freedom a bit more. Most recently, he went to see his niece Maya play softball for the UCLA Bruins. The Bruins went on to win the game, beating Arizona State 4-1. Maya starred in the game, managing 3 hits in 4 at-bats. Following the game, Tom shared a special message on Instagram for his niece. He celebrated the win while highlighting a few moments from the game.

In the Instagram Post, the NFL icon said, “Night at the park. Big W! @uclasoftball!”. He also shared a sweet picture with Maya and some other pictures and clips from the game, and afterward. Tom truly proved that he is a cool uncle and spent some quality time with his niece.

He is currently enjoying a break from everything and spending some quality time with his family. The iconic quarterback stepped away from the game earlier this year following a down season. It will be interesting to see whether he takes up a managerial position sometime down the road. 

NFL icon Brady is going to start his FOX broadcasting career next year

Following his second retirement, many fans wondered when Tom Brady would begin his broadcasting career. The NFL icon answered this question a few days after hanging up his boots. Brady said that he would start in the Fall of 2024, likely in time for next year’s NFL season. He would have time to relax and really think about his role before joining. Furthermore, he could also mentally prepare himself.
