The Philadelphia Phillies had a decent 2022 regular season and were fantastic in the postseason. They reached all the way to the World Series despite finishing third in the NL East. A massive part of their success was due to Bryce Harper’s excellent play as the designated hitter. Harper had suffered an injury to his Ulnar Collateral Ligament (UCL) and was unable to throw the ball properly.
This forced him to play as a DH for the entire season. But he got used to his new role and played fantastic baseball throughout the year. Harper is now enjoying the off-season and was most recently seen getting into the Super Bowl spirit while at a golfing event. And knowing that Harper plays for the Phillies, there should be no surprise who would he root for the Super Bowl this time.
