Home/NFL

Derek Jeter is one of the greatest baseball players to ever play the sport. Similarly, Tom Brady is one of the greatest football players in NFL history. The two won every accolade possible in their respective sports and put winning before anything else. Jeter was okay with not having the most flashy statistics as long as the New York Yankees won.

Brady would regularly take pay cuts in order for his organization to put the best pieces around him. Both of these icons are now set for careers in broadcasting with Fox Sports. Jeter recently signed with Fox Sports’ MLB division as an MLB analyst. This has led to speculation surrounding the Yankee legends contract with Fox and whether it’s more than Brady’s 10-year $375 million deal.

It was recently announced that Derek Jeter has joined Fox Sports’ MLB division as a broadcaster. This solidifies Jeter’s next move in the baseball space after months of rumors that YES Network was interested in signing him. The announcement was made recently with former teammate Alex Rodriguez one of the people there to welcome him. This deal has led to many wondering what kind of contract Jeter has signed. Just last year, Tom Brady signed a 10-year $375 million deal and it has left people wondering if Jeter’s contract is worth more than that.

But very little is known about Jeter’s deal and the details of the contract. According to FoxSports.com, “he is joining the “MLB on FOX” team beginning with the 2023 season.” Apart from this, nothing is known about the length or the amount of money the contract is worth. But Brady’s 10-year $375 million deal has still been brought up in discussions about Jeter’s agreement with Fox. People wonder if Jeter has been given a deal bigger than Brady. Considering Jeter’s popularity, it’s completely possible.

But even with that popularity, it looks highly unlikely that Jeter’s contract is worth more than the $375 million deal Brady signed last year. It would be hard for even the Yankee legend to beat that kind of deal. Furthermore, since so little is known about Jeter’s contract with Fox Sports, it is hard to speculate. But there is one thing we know for sure.
