There is a long-standing ritual that Major League Baseball still follows to this day. It is the one of throwing ceremonial first pitches before the game. Almost two decades ago, the honor of throwing the first pitch went to the Brazilian supermodel Gisele B?ndchen.

May 25, 2004, was the day when Oakland Athletics fought against the Boston Red Sox at their home ground, Fenway Park. And according to the statistics, lost the game terribly. Grabbing the attention of over 35,000 people, the supermodel came to the pitcher’s mound and threw the first pitch of the game.?
