Now, the same has extended to the baseball world, all thanks to his latest move that took fans back in 1995.

‘Catcher’ Tom Brady Brings His Baseball Past at the Topps Event

The sports world has known Tom Brady for his role as a quarterback. But there is more to it. Notably, the seven-time Super Bowl champion was drafted by the Montreal Expos in 1995 as a catcher for the MLB. But Brady chose football instead of baseball. The legendary quarterback made his NFL appearance in 2000 and continued his journey for 22 years. However, his love for baseball and his first MLB team never died.

Brady confirmed an appearance for a Topps event in the Montreal Expos jersey. MLB Life shared a related post and wrote, Tom Brady pulled up to a Topps event at the MLB Store in NYC wearing a No. 12 Montreal Expos jersey.”

According to The Press Of Atlantic City, actor/comedian Kevin Hart and rapper Travis Scott were at the event and traded cards with the young kids. The co-owner of the store in awe of the moment said, “This was incredible. Unreal. I did not expect the turnout.”

He added, “We were notified on short notice. We talked to the kids and got them involved. The smiles on these kids’ faces. The experience of trading their cards with an athlete and celebrity is an experience they’ll probably never have again.”

Although it happened on short notice, the event still went wonderfully, which fans loved. But the expos jersey also got the attention of the fans and brought many questions, including Brady’s entry into the MLB.

Fans Bring In Different Conclusions While Celebrating Brady’s Baseball-Related Move

Given that the Expos last functioned in 2004, Tom Brady’s jersey has raised the question of its relevance. Although many appreciated it related to his love for baseball and his fast, few fans had a thought about the future.
