When two players of different sports are related, there is bound to have some roasting. Well, one-time former first and third baseman, Kevin Youkilis, of the Boston Red Sox roasted his brother-in-law and the NFL star, Tom Brady.

Kevin got married to Brady’s sister Julie in 2012, and ever since, they are related to each other. Aside from football, one other sport that Brady is interested in is the one his brother-in-law used to play professionally.

So when the NFL star posted a video of him playing baseball, his brother-in-law had to weigh in and mock his wife’s brother a bit.

What did Brady do that made Kevin Youkilis roast him?

A couple of months ago, the star quarterback wanted to test his baseball skills. So, he and his teammate, Rob Gronkowski, did some batting practice and posted a video of it as well.

After watching Brady’s hits, the former baseball player could not control himself and commented,?“We got some work to do!”

The NFL star had picked up the baseball bat to check if he still had the baseball skills that he had 30 years ago. In 1995, he was drafted as a catcher by the Montreal Expos in the 18th round. He got viewed as a potential all-star player who would have shown his power on the plate.

He was so close to being a baseball player, but he decided to be a pro in football. However, people would love to see him as a baseball player as well.

How did Kevin play as a baseball player?

Youk played in the Major Leagues from 2004 to 2014. Therein, he played primarily with the Boston Red Sox and even debuted in MLB with the same team.

Throughout his career, he became World Series Champion twice, won the Hank Aaron Award in 2008, and was also an All-Star player three times.?

Other than the Red Sox, Kevin has played with Red Sox’s fierce rival New York Yankees, with whom he ended his career as well. And he played for Chicago White Sox as well.
