Timberwolves Owner Alex Rodriguez Honors $11.1 Billion Top NFL Owner, As “Pretty Cool” Gift Unlocks Childlike Wonder

Alex Rodriguez aka A-Rod is a true sports enthusiast. Be it his own history with MLB or his association with other sports like the NBA and NFL, he never misses out. This particular time, he stands in his ARod Corp. office unboxing a present from a fellow NFL member with a sparkle in his eyes. 

From one owner to another, A-Rod received a ‘special delivery’ from “one of the greatest owners of all time”. As a lover of big brands, Alex admired this really cool blue bounty. One of the special things about this gift is that it comes from the owner of the New England Patriots, Mr. Robert Kraft, hence undoubtedly there is a surprise element. 

The Surprise Lightens Alex Rodriguez Up 

A-Rod being the active social media user he is, posted a story of his reaction on Instagram. He was taken by surprise to see the customized pair of Nike shoes. He described the shoes as “sweet” while he unboxed them perfectly summing up his emotion. Rodriguez acknowledging his gift made a quick shoutout to the New England Patriots saying, “Pretty cool! Go Patriots!”.

The best part about it was that the shoes have a “great logo for Robert and Jonathan Kraft”. In addition to that Robert’s signature inside gave it a nice touch. This special touch was in fact so on point that it made A-Rod post a second story captioning it, “Nice Touch 🎯”. 

Intending not to keep this NFL piece far from baseball and other precious items, he positioned the Patriots-themed shoes in a “special spot at the office”. His third Instagram story was Kraft’s gift placed among his other prized possessions. 

They include his early-career baseball helmet, bat, World Series trophy and his adorable younger daughter’s photograph. This speaks volumes of how valuable he considers this token from the billionaire NFL owner. 

Robert Kraft and A-Rod’s Friendship and Mutual Respect 

Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, and Alex Rodriguez, part-owner of Minnesota Timberwolves have shared a close relationship for many years now. One instance was when Kraft advised A-Rod to deal with the steroid suspension episode in his life which turned him into a different person. He told Alex, “Build bridges. Don’t burn them. You’re a very special messenger, and people will pay attention to what you say”. Well isn’t that inspiring?

Another instance is when this former Yankee approached Robert back in 2020 while planning to buy the New York Mets. All things considered, history is a testament to how valuable Kraft and Rodriguez find each other.
