Despite Alex Rodriguez’s encouraging words and winning mantra, his team had to endure a defeat. With the Minnesota Timberwolves dropping game three of the conference semi-finals, their journey has become just a little tougher. However, during moments like this, fans tend to find different ways to forget about facing a defeat. So, it is only natural that Rodriguez and his girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro decided to do something too. 

Rodriguez and Cordeiro decided to take their minds off the troubles after the disappointing game with a movie date. The Instagram story posted on A-Rod’s account shows the two going for a couple’s retreat inside a movie theatre.

One wonders which movie they watched. Was it the latest Planet of the Apes? Or was it Fall Guy or Challengers? Whatever it may be, the couple looked in good spirits in that Instagram story. That’s important especially after the Denver Nuggets dominated the Timberwolves 117-90. At the game, the duo was also seen together twinning in white, cheering for their team. However, the result did leave a bitter taste. But, A-Rod and his girlfriend used the date night as a nice palette cleanser before his team goes at it again tonight.

The importance of this series cannot be understated for Rodriguez. The more his team succeeds the more it makes his ownership look good. The New York Yankees’ legend has been on a mission to get accepted by the T-Wolves fanbase. And slowly but gradually the fans have embraced him. News – “I have so much respect for Jac.” The star noted how she’s committed to her work.  “She has great clients. I’m one of them,” Rodriguez said. “She walks the walk every day. This 5:00 a.m. club—she’s up every day at 4:30. I don’t know how she does it. I’m more up around 6:30. But she’s a force of nature and a great mom.”
