However, the Pinstripes fans are still upset over the poor umpiring in the last game of the series. Even ‘The Captain’ director, Randy Wilkins, expressed his disappointment over the umpires’ decision.

Not only for the Yankees, but the umpiring has become a serious issue for every MLB franchise this season. During the fourth game of the series, an on-field umpire called a Twins batter safe after a review.

Taking to Twitter, Randy Wilkins, who directed Derek Jeter’s docuseries, expressed his disappointment. He clearly said that the umpires cost the game for the Yanks.

“The umps cost the Yankees that game. I almost never blame an outcome on them but that was the case tonight. And there is zero accountability,” Wilkins tweeted.
