“You’re Not Going to Get Anything…”: When MLB Icon Derek Jeter Swept Questions on Ex-girlfriend Minka Kelly Aside With Ridiculous Ease

New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter has had quite a long list of women he dated before finally settling down. But to this day, the alleged playboy’s dating history is full of rumors because Jeter always wanted to keep his personal life separate. However, when some people spotted him with Minka Kelly in a game, even then, the MLB star barely discussed any of his relationships. Notably, one such relationship of his was with actress and model Minka Kelly.

If he never got spotted with any of his alleged girlfriends, then probably nobody would have asked him about his dating history. But since he got spotted with Kelly at a football game in October 2008; the reporters could not stop themselves from asking Jeter about the rumored couple.

Secretive Derek Jeter was never going to talk about his personal life

In an interview with People magazine in 2008, Derek Jeter got asked why was he standing beside Kelly during the football game in Austin. But since Jeter had sworn upon saying nothing about his private life, he did not say a thing about his rumored romance with Kelly. 

“You know I’m not going to tell you anything,” said Jeter. “How many other people were at the stadium? You’re not going to get anything from me.”

Even though Jeter had said no, the reporter was not going to let the topic go. The reporter had to try one more time. But again, Jeter shrugged the question about Kelly with a laugh. Apparently, Kelly was Jeter’s last relationship before he started dating supermodel Hannah Davis (now Jeter) and settled down with her.

Jeter was ready to settle down with Kelly

If the rumors are to be believed, then Jeter was engaged to the actress and model. They obviously hadn’t told the public about their engagement. But sources close to them had talked about it at the time.

In the end, they found out they weren’t right for each other. And eventually, they broke up. Jeter did find his ‘the one,’ after he met supermodel Hannah Davis, courtesy of their mutual friends.
