Few rivalries including the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees, have been there for centuries. Given the context, any connection to it, brings a lot into it, especially when two legendary players are involved in this. The same happened when Derek Jeter shared his thoughts in the mid-game show. Captain Clutch said, “There was a rivalry with Boston for a long long time. You guys never won anything…”

Not only that, Derek Jeter also brought their 2003 ALCS win into the context and trolled Ortiz badly. Notably, the Yanks were up against the Red Sox and won it at the clutch moment. Against the enrage, Ortiz could not do anything, however, took advantage when Dave Roberts joined them.
