‘You Deserve It’- Alex Rodriguez’s Ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz Once Spilled Beans About the Infamous Picture of Her Feeding Popcorn to Her Beau

The New York Yankees icon Alex Rodriguez has had a fair share of relationships in his life. Notably, A-Rod had almost all of his relationships in the public eye. But one such relationship of the former Yankee was with the Golden Globe winner actress Cameron Diaz.  Although the ex-couple dated for around a year, the two broke the internet a couple of times.

During the peak of their relationship, one of their pictures went viral on the internet. For those unversed, it was taken during the Super Bowl 2011. When the two were sitting together while watching the game, the ex-couple got clicked. And the main highlight of the picture was Diaz helping A-Rod eat popcorn from her bowl.

Then on David Letterman’s show, the Charlie’s Angels actress sat down and revealed the story behind their viral picture. Diaz said that anyone who knows her knows she does not like anyone’s hands in her food.

Therefore, when Alex’s hand descended into Diaz’s popcorn bowl, she got furious. But later on, she admitted, “You know what? I love you too much. I’m going to give it to you. You deserve it.”

And as everyone knows, their picture of the popcorn incident became a trending topic for a while on the internet. However, despite loving each other to that extent, the then-celebrity couple called their relationship off in the very same year because of their different future goals.

What did they do after breaking up?

As for Cameron, she starred in a couple of movies like “Annie” and “The Other Woman” before she got retired from acting in 2014. Later on, she went on to marry Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden in January 2015.
