After their series win against the LA Angles, the Diamondbacks have been playing some outstanding baseball lately. And when talking about their recent series, the Diamondbacks have been completely dominant against the Marlins.

Although the Marlins had already lost the series, they showed some character against the Diamondbacks in the third game and did not let them win easily. But the surprising ejection of the Diamondbacks ace overshadowed the thrill of one of the best games of this season.

Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Madison Bumgarner was not happy with the umpire’s behavior

A three-time World Series champion, Bumgarner has been one of the standout players for the Arizona Diamondbacks this season. He, single-handedly, has led the Diamondbacks to win a few games.

During the third game of the series against the Marlins, when Bumgarner was pitching, the first-base umpire Dan Bellino called him to check the sticky substance in his hand. Even while checking his hand, Bellino kept looking at Bumgarner’s face.

He did not even look at the hands. With this, the Diamondbacks pitcher got furious and involved in a heated conversation with the umpire. Eventually, this led to the ejection of Bumgarner from the game.

Talking about his unfortunate ejection, Bumgarner said that he still has no idea why he got thrown out. “I know why I got thrown out. But you guys have seen the video,” Bumgarner said. “I don’t know if I can say anything that would make the situation better… You guys have all seen it. And you can go back and see it all again, and it’s pretty clear.”
