The legend dipped his hands in a new territory, a pretty exclusive one. Just a day before the induction ceremony on September 8, 2021, Jeter released NFTs on the DraftKings marketplace, and he did it in collaboration with the NFT platform, Autograph. All the digital collectibles put on sale were wiped out as soon as they got released.

How many collectibles did Derek Jeter sell?

With the entry-level $12 NFT close to $200, Jeter could sell 10,000 collectibles, all in one day. The first batch of collectibles got sold for a whopping price of $800,000.

The next batch of more exclusive and signed (digitally) were already ready to sell in the next week after September 7. The long-awaited Hall of Fame celebration must have become even more special for the Yankees great after all the collectibles vanished on the same day they went on sale.
