Alex Rodriguez Shared His Nostalgia of MLB Debut on Instagram
Every new MLB season brings a new set of Rookie Cards. That’s a tradition that has been going on for decades. These cards are valuable for collectors, but they are also valuable for the featured players. They take the players back to their beginning days and remind them where they started from.

Recently an Instagram story by Alex Rodriguez showed his 1994 Rookie Series- Rookie Phenom Card. He had reshared the story of jayro.3 on Instagram. The monetary value of the card is not high, but this card took the legend back to his initial MLB days when he was part of the Seattle Mariners. Though his most achievements are with the Yankees, and he is renowned as a Yankees icon, his journey began with the Mariners.
At the age of 18, the Mariners gave him the chance to play his first major league game at Fenway Park. Though the first game was not a great one, as he went 0 for 3, he made up for it in the second game. He ended the season with a .204-hitting average in 17 games.
It is a PSA Mint 9. So it must have some imperfection, but that’s not what fans are bothered about. For them, it is priceless as it features the beginning of their idol’s heroic career. The legend was featured in the Rookie Phenom category, hinting at his glorious baseball career ahead.

Is the 1994 Leaf Limited Rookie Phenom Card Valuable?
Rookie cards are common. Whenever a player steps into the biggest league of their respective sports, they are featured in the Rookie Cards. However, Rookie Phenom cards feature players with potential and high-skill sets. So, they are indeed more valuable than others for the collectors.
A-Rod has been featured in multiple MLB series cards. So, the Rookie series card may not be the most valuable one for collectors. However, for the legend, it is attached to his emotions. It shows the starting line from where his MLB journey began.
