How did a fan troll Alex Rodriguez through a shark tank idea?

Back in 2019, one year after the Boston Red Sox had won the World Championship, A-Rod appeared on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.’ While Jimmy continued to pitch multiple shark tank ideas, he introduced Regan’s idea called “Sweet Victory.”

Jimmy Fallon continued to read the purpose of the app. He said, “This is an app that sends out an alert every hour. That alert would be just a reminder that the Red Sox won 119 games and the World Series last season. No one should ever forget.”

As the audience and Jimmy Fallon break into laughter, A-Rod was stuck with an embarrassed smile on his face. Regan Maloney definitely hit A-Rod, exactly where it would hurt him.

A-Rod’s career in the ballpark

A-Rod made his MLB debut in 1994 with the Seattle Mariners. After spending seven seasons with them, the shortstop reached the Texas Rangers. Finally, he arrived for the most glorious segment of his career at the Yankees. Making a quick transition from shortstop to the third baseman, A-Rod played with the Yanks till he retired in 2016.

Throughout his 22-season-long MLB career, the superstar slugger appeared on 14 All-Star teams and won three American League MVP awards, two Golden Gloves, and ten Silver Slugger Awards. Moreover, he also won the World Championship with the Yanks in 2009 and four AL Hank Aaron Awards.
