Yankees Icon Alex Rodriguez Got Spotted in New York City Days After His Ex-Fiance Jennifer Lopez Came Back to LA From Honeymoon in Italy

The relationship of former Yankee Alex Rodriguez and actress Jennifer Lopez might not have made as many headlines as their breakup did. After breaking up with the baseball player, the actress reunited with her ex-fiance (now husband) actor Ben Affleck last year. 

She announced her engagement to the actor earlier this year and recently got married as well. Following her 3-day wedding extravaganza in Italy, she returned to LA with her husband. A couple of days after coming back to LA, her ex-fiance made an unexpected appearance in New York City.

What was Alex Rodriguez doing in New York City?

The 14 times All-Star baseball player A-Rod got spotted in New York, where he spent some of his best time. That place is none other than Yankee Stadium. 

Rodriguez was at the stadium attending a Bad Bunny Show, which happened last month only. A-Rod happened to be in NYC just a couple of days after JLo’s return to Los Angeles This might be a coincidence or not, known best to the former baseball player himself.

Aware or maybe not, on the day of Jennifer and Ben’s wedding, Alex posted a picture of himself on Instagram, of him texting and resting his feet up on his desk. A few days after posting the picture, he posted a video of him doing a fit check. Which then led his followers to find a link between him and Jennifer.

What is the link that the followers found between Rodriguez and Lopez?

At the wedding, Jennifer Lopez wore three custom-made dresses, all by the brand Ralph Lauren. 

And the image that Alex posted on Instagram on the day of JLo’s wedding, the shirt and jeans he was wearing were the same brand – Ralph Lauren.

From there, A-Rod’s followers found the connection between the two after more than a year of their breakup.

Alex and Jennifer started dating in 2017, and two years later, Rodriguez popped the question, to which JLo said yes. Their wedding was supposed to happen in 2020, but because of the restrictions due to the pandemic, it got postponed.
