The former New York Yankees player has always advocated for maintaining one’s health. In fact, it’s a point he looks for in romantic relationships as well and his current partner, fitness expert Jac Cordeiro, fits the bill perfectly. Additionally, Rodriguez has instilled this value in his daughters too. Despite all the precautions, however, illnesses can still sneak up on one sometimes; the same happened to A-Rod.

In a recent interview with CBS Mornings, Rodriguez revealed he had early-stage gum disease. While he’s doing everything he can to fight it, the former shortstop’s daughter clearly believes in the same values as him.

As such, he has passed on some important lessons to them, one being how taking care of one’s health is essential. The former Yankee’s daughters sometimes join him in the workout videos that he posts to social media.

Now, the older Rodriguez daughter is sharing yet another significant message. Natasha Rodriguez posted a few pictures to her social media of herself posing in a shirt that says, “Health is Wealth”. She echoed the slogan in her caption, which read, “What the shirt says.”

Now that Natasha is 18, A-Rod is getting ready to see his oldest daughter off to college in a matter of months!

Natasha Rodriguez graduated from high school this year and her dad posted happy pictures from the graduation party. Later, he also announced on Instagram that his oldest daughter will be heading off to college soon! She will study musical theatre at the University of Michigan and was one of only 23 students to be selected.
