Yankees Fans Urge Jose Trevino to Help Out Teammate Nestor Cortes Jr. To Come Out of the Scary Hours of His Life

Since the regular season is still a few months away, it seems like MLB players are making the most out of the off-season. On one hand, some players are enjoying their time with loved ones and signing new contracts while on the other hand, the Yankees ace Nestor Cortes Jr. is also having a time of his life.

With the craving to have MLB’s official eatable, Cortes Jr. is giving not-so-subtle hints to his teammate Jose Trevino for not helping him out.

Apparently, Trevino is the one person who could have helped him out by fulfilling his craving. But instead of doing so, he chose to tease him even more. And that left their fans urging Trevino to help out Cortes Jr. come out of this scary phase of his life. 

What does Nestor Cortes Jr. need help with?

Not many people might know this but, Major League Baseball has its very own official brand of bubble gum created by former baseball players. And it appears to be that the Yankees ace Nestor Cortes Jr. is a big fan of ‘Big League Chew’ bubble gum. In Cortes jr.’s own words, he is going through scary hours since he is running out of his favorite bubble gums.

Apparently, Cortes Jr.’s Yankees teammate Jose Trevino is seemingly the only person who could have helped him get more.

But instead of helping him out, Trevino decided to tease him even more with a special announcement. The number 1 shredded gum of the baseball players decided to send Trevino a ton of gum for this year’s Trevino’s birthday bash with a little twist on the packaging.

However, this still led fans to urge Trevino to help Cortes come out of the scary hours of his life. 

How did the fans react to Cortes Jr.’s news?

Combining Cortes Jr. and Trevino’s careers, they both have had tremendous careers this season and are now enjoying the off-season chewing some Big League Chew. Then, in a not-so-pointing-fingers manner, Cortes Jr. called his teammate out.

Taking to Twitter, Cortes Jr. wrote, “When you have a buddy and I’m not trying to point out fingers @HipHipJose5 that can get me @bigleaguechew but realize your hours away from running out. Scary hours.”

Trevino was about to make Cortes crave Big League Chew even more.

The twist on the packaging was Trevino himself!

Apparently, they do!

Notably, it was a banter between Cortes Jr. and Trevino. And since the regular season is officially over, seems like the MLB fans also enjoyed the banter.
