The Yankees captain just had a marvelous night. Despite being sidelined for two months of the season, and missing 55 games, it seems like Aaron Judge is determined to break records. On August 23rd, he hit three home runs in a single game for the first time, joining an exclusive list of players. While it’s not the most flashy of achievements, it’s certainly applause-worthy.

Then last night against the D-Backs, almost a month to the day, Judge did it again. He is now the first Yankees player to have multiple three home run games in a single season. Serving as a lucky charm were his cleats, blue Air Jordans that represented Maui, the place where he got married to Samantha Bracksieck.

Judge, who recently became a Jordan Brand athlete, also shared a photo of the shoes on his Instagram story. True to the theme, the cleats are pictured underwater – one lies on the sandy bottom while the other one sinks down slowly, laces stretched upward. They bear the Nike mark along with water-themed blues, lying on sand covered in seashells.
