A busy character throughout his life, ‘A-Rod’ hosted his own podcast, titled The Corp, after his retirement. Along with his co-host Big Cat, Rodriguez held a series of interviews with eminent personalities from various professions. Former professional wrestler Stephanie McMahon once graced the podcast on one of the episodes. McMahon is presently the chairwoman and CEO of the WWE administration.

Rodriguez and McMahon thus sat down for nearly an hour-long conversation, with Big Cat for company. Unavoidably, the former Yankee brought up the topic of iconic WWE legends Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair. Hogan and Flair are two of the biggest names ever to have been associated with the WWE ring.

Alex Rodriguez’s query about the biggest WWE star:

While interacting with Stephanie McMahon, Alex Rodriguez asked who the biggest WWE superstar is between Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair. The world-renowned Hogan is one of the most popular wrestling sensations of a lifetime. Hogan even became a mainstream pop culture icon in American society. At the same time, Flair gained stardom, competing in various leagues and winning numerous titles over the decades.

McMahon replied, saying, “That’s a great question. I think that Hulk Hogan is one of the easily most recognized icons in the world. Everything. His size. His stature. That Fu Manchu. That long blonde hair. He’s so iconic.” Rodriguez added, “The orange and red.” McMahon corrected, saying, “Oh yeah. Yeah, red and yellow actually.”
