Six years after retiring from the wrestling ring with multiple accolades and an entry into the WWE Hall of Fame, Hulk Hogan visited the Philadelphia Phillies at their spring training session. Over the years of his career, Terry Bollea, AKA Hulk Hogan, developed a reputation for hard work and a perpetually ignited competitive spirit. The same spirit led to him being injured time and again. However, that never stopped him during his career and not even six years after.

Shortly before the Phillies took on Pittsburgh Pirates at Spectrum Field in 2018, Hogan dropped in and spoke to the entire Phillies team. While reliving his old, baseball playing days, Hogan watched the team practice, before making the decision to enter the cage, despite his old and beaten-up body.

Despite his better judgment, Hogan entered the cage and practiced his wing. He said, “Standing here, I’m catching myself timing the ball as it’s coming, and I’m like, ‘I’m next.'” Hogan continued to add, “Even with the knee replacements, the hip replacements, and the nine back surgeries, you still keep that swing.”
