In 2016, with 14 All-Star appearances, 696 homers, and a World Championship, Alex Rodriguez walked his final steps in the Bronx, as his 22-season-long career came to an end. After retiring from the ballpark, A-Rod entered the broadcasting world, while pursuing his business interests on the side. The ex-Yankees superstar, along with broadcasting and television veteran Michael Kay, started the Kay-Rod Cast as an alternative to Sunday Night Baseball.

In little to no time, Kay-Rod Cast gained lots of popularity, and only recently, the duo announced season two of the podcast. Now, KayRod Cast is coming back, and A-Rod has returned to the Big Apple, with a subtle mention to 69-year-old WWE superstar, Hulk Hogan.

However, before leaving the snowy Minnesota weather for Manhattan to reunite with Michael Kay, A-Rod channeled his inner Hulk Hogan through an Instagram story displaying the American flag, with Hogan’s theme song, “Real American,” by Rick Derringer in the background.
