In 2016, with 14 All-Star appearances, 696 homers, and a World Championship, Alex Rodriguez walked his final steps in the Bronx, as his 22-season-long career came to an end. After retiring from the ballpark, A-Rod entered the broadcasting world, while pursuing his business interests on the side. The ex-Yankees superstar, along with broadcasting and television veteran Michael Kay, started the Kay-Rod Cast as an alternative to Sunday Night Baseball.
In little to no time, Kay-Rod Cast gained lots of popularity, and only recently, the duo announced season two of the podcast. Now, KayRod Cast is coming back, and A-Rod has returned to the Big Apple, with a subtle mention to 69-year-old WWE superstar, Hulk Hogan.

Michael Kay retweeted A-Rod’s tweet and uploaded a series of tweets announcing the KayRod episode featuring on ESPN on his Twitter handle.

However, this isn’t A-Rod and Michael Kay’s biggest assignment in 2023. At the end of June, A-Rod and Michael Kay will both travel to London to call the iconic MLB London Series – the Route 66 rivalry between the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals.
The MLB London Series will return after three years. In 2019, the London Series commenced with the iconic and greatest rivalry in sporting history – the New York Yankees vs Boston Red Sox, where the Pinstripes emerged victorious.
