Though the superstar is now in a great relationship with Jaclyn Cordeiro, there’s still a hint of pain hidden beneath his chest. Till a few years ago, A-Rod was in a happy relationship with Jennifer Lopez. The two even tried to buy the New York Mets together. But then things took a surprising turn and they broke up. 

A short while later, the paparazzi discovered Lopez going back to her ex from years ago Ben Affleck. The two almost star-crossed lovers moved quickly and were married in no time. Looks like a perfect story, right? It almost was until rumors of their divorce began swirling around the town. Suddenly, the IT couple was no longer that. Then came reports of Alex Rodriguez possibly celebrating this separation. However, now more information has emerged regarding A-Rod’s feelings immediately after his break up with Lopez.

“Alex fell apart when J.Lo ran off with Ben,” In Touch’s article said. “He felt like she tossed him out with the trash when she got a better offer from Ben and it did a huge number on him. He went from planning a wedding to watching her marry someone else in what felt like the blink of an eye. It was the worst year of his life, and to make things ten times worse, J.Lo didn’t have an ounce of empathy for him. She flaunted her romance with Ben every chance she got.” 

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez began dating each other at the beginning of 2017. The two moved relatively quickly and got engaged in two years. However, in April 2021, the two called off the engagement by announcing that they’re better as “friends” than partners. Just a little time later, Lopez was photographed with Ben Affleck and was seen attending multiple events with him.

However, the story between Affleck and Lopez might be in for a less-than-happy ending. Multiple rumors have emerged of their “imminent divorce” as Alex Rodriguez seemingly looks on with popcorn in his hands.

Alex Rodriguez is allegedly having a blast seeing the latest drama around Bennifer. “To see (J.Lo) getting some karma for her actions is pretty sweet, even if (Rodriguez) wouldn’t admit it publicly,” the report read. “His friends all know he’s been waiting for things with her and Ben to crash and burn.” 

Per Glamour, Ben Affleck has already moved out of the couple’s $60 million dream house. “They’ll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for. They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him and he can’t change her,” the report read. So it looks like with Bennifer possibly looking at a divorce, Rodriguez has found peace. Though the baseball legend is already very happy with his girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro, seeing how deep the hurt goes for him is interesting.
