Major League Baseball franchise New York Yankees is one of the oldest and best teams in the entire league. However, the last decade had been pretty tough on the team. And this toughness doesn’t seem to go away anytime soon as the Bronx Bombers have hit another major bump on their way to success. This major bump would be the injury of their captain Aaron Judge.
As the team was already struggling to gain momentum, Judge’s injury update has now put them in an even tougher situation. While giving an update on Judge’s injury, Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that he has a mild hip strain. He also added that they’ll be deciding on Monday whether or not Judge will have a shot at going on the injured list. Even so, in case Judge does go on the IL, a popular radio show host thinks that the Yanks would be done without him.

Even last year, until the first half of the regular season, the Yankees showed the potential of winning. However, that went down terribly, as they had one bad second half. And had it not for Judge and his 62 home runs, there was a pretty good chance of the Bronx Bombers not even winning the division.

The regular season commenced with enormously high hopes from the Yankees, especially because of Judge. And now, the team is on the strands of making it to the top. Popular radio host, Brandon Tierney in one of his shows, said, “Aaron Judge is the most indispensable athlete in New York. With him, the Yankees aren’t even good enough in my estimation. Without him, they’re absolutely cooked.”

He further added that while he loves watching Judge play, but if Judge misses more games in the season, “This team, without Aaron Judge, is borderline unwatchable…if he’s out for any amount of time, the Yankees are done.”
It is undeniable that Big Aaron Judge is a necessary asset to the team. Without him being there to lead, it would be pretty tough for the team to win any number of games whatsoever.
