The Oakland Athletics’ fight continues. The blows keep coming and owner John Fisher seems unable to fight them off. July has ended and more than half of the regular season is over. Now, the brutal truth is unavoidable – the A’s are the worst MLB team. Not only is their payroll the lowest in the league, but the Coliseum’s attendance rate has also gone downward. And the innocent fans have had enough.
Fisher is determined to move the A’s to Las Vegas, taking the last of Oakland’s major sports teams with him. Fans have been vehemently protesting with no noticeable results. Now, they’re asking for help from other franchises.

From loud chants of “Sell the team” to ‘Reverse Boycott’, baseball lovers have tried several ways to oppose the move. But even with popular personalities attached to the protest, Fisher seems determined to remain ignorant. In a general plea, A’s fans are now asking for help from other franchises.
They’re full utilizing social media to spread the word. Twitter user @Ariichiiyoko recently shared a flyer on how Dodgers fans can help Oakland. “The summer of sell,” reads the information.
Dodger fans! The A's are coming to Dodger Stadium this week, let's support our neighbors up north.
Top of the 5th before the first AB we're doing a "sell the team" chant to show our support for Oakland baseball. Hope to see you all there. #HereToPlay #OAKTogether pic.twitter.com/otPQ2Qplz2— Ari Tata🌙 (@Ariichiiyoko) July 31, 2023
“Support Oakland baseball: stand with us!! Baseball is more than just wins and home runs. It’s about community, memories, and a sense of belonging. like all baseball fans, A’s fans also cherish these values. We’re at risk of losing baseball in Oakland forever. Will you stand with us?”
“Show your support by standing up before the first at-bat of the top of the fifth inning. Please stay silent throughout the at-bat to honor 55 years of baseball in Oakland followed by chants of “Sell the team! Sell the team!” stand with Oakland. Keep baseball alive in our city.”

No one understands the pain of a team moving miles away better than fellow baseball enthusiasts. And as the A’s come to LA, fans hope Dodger Stadium will be full of “Sell the team” chants.

Teamwork can move mountains but only if every individual is willing, which some Dodgers fans are on the fence about.
Why should Dodgers fans care about a fan base who doesn’t show up to there own home games? I mean let’s be honest: does anyone know any true A’s fans? I approve the move to Vegas.

They moving to Vegas, maybe they’ll have a real fanbase there

I don’t agree with this at all. I can see why the Giants did this , but why are A’s fans asking Dodger fans to join in? Why, do A’s fan want to disrupt the 5th inning for our game? I hope Dodger fans don’t participate in this. It’s not our fight, not our team.

So far, it’s unlikely that the move will be stopped, but maybe better ownership is in the Athletics future. Let’s hope the situation gets resolved this season.
