New York Yankees’ star slugger Aaron Judge has remained the talk of the town across the nation during this season. The Yankees have eventually fallen out of World Series contention. Judge made his MLB debut as a Yankees outfielder in 2016 and his contract has finally come to an end. He displayed extraordinary batting performances throughout the regular season and achieved a sacred milestone. This year, he mounted up 62 seasonal home runs. Therefore, Judge became the American League’s highest seasonal home run scorer.?
Wow, this was a tough read. How are we supposed to keep our pinstripes on and stay pinstripe strong when “players don’t want to be Yankees”? This is awful. Hard to digest. Impossible to comprehend. https://t.co/a6xGiIo1BP pic.twitter.com/jSrub7DkSr

But with grand performances come higher expectations. Just as the Yankees fans cheered Judge to his historic slams, they equally jeered him whenever he faltered. The Yankees have one of the largest and most passionate fan bases worldwide. So when Judge rose up to be their leading hero and then stumbled at crucial moments, the crowd turned against him.?
Aaron Judge reportedly has resentment toward the fans?
Aaron Judge guided the Yankees to the top of the zonal rankings this season. His form helped the Yankees to maintain a dominant run in the first half of the regular season. Even when the Yankees suffered from a slump in form in the second half, he carried the Yankees to glory. So the fans began to anticipate more heroics from Judge.?
But the fan obsession took an ugly turn, as Judge got booed whenever he failed to smash a home run. Proceedings turned far bitter, as both Judge and the Yankees failed miserably in the postseason. Having entered the league championship series, the Yankees got swept by the Houston Astros. Thus, the fans turned against Judge to boo him after every loss.?
So reports have come up revealing Judge?s desire to leave the Yankees due to mistreatment from the fans. SNYtv network posted on their Twitter account quoting, “More than I?ve ever seen, players don?t want to be Yankees. The team needs to find a way to change the message and tone.”?

Some of the reactions that followed:?
Contrast playing in NY with playing in San Diego now. Before you could justify NY bc San Diego didn’t pay the money. But now that’s in the past. Great stadium, great friendly fans, softer media, fabulous weather and exciting talented team for years. Watch Soto sign as well.

I think the worst scenario for the Yankees is if he takes a lesser offer elsewhere.

The NYY fans seems to be more upset about being swept by the Astros than the players & management are.

When Cashman went public with the offer that Aaron rejected, that likely pushed Aaron out the door. Another win for the Yankees front office.

Therefore, not everyone believes that Judge is leaving because of the fans.?

However, whether the fan treatment was the reason or not, Judge’s continuation with the Yankees seems unlikely.?
A quick look at Judge’s possible future?
