Not even two weeks in, and playoffs have changed the fate of multiple teams entirely. With the Dodgers, Mets, Cardinals, Braves, Mariners, and Rays out of the World Series race, only six teams are now left. Teams who will play NLCS are decided with only one team that has qualified for ALCS, and that is Houston Astros.

With some recent changes in the postseason schedule and the Astros making it to the ALCS, a concert of Sir Elton John’s farewell tour that was supposed to be in Minute Maid Park is now canceled. From the looks of it, it won’t be getting rescheduled either.
The postseason picture changes frequently, as which team will advance further always remains undecided. That’s what happened when the Astros made it to the ALCS.
Why did Elton John’s concert got canceled by Houston Astros?
Since the Astros made it to the ALCS after winning against the Seattle Mariners on Saturday, getting to the World Series is now a possibility for them.

If the Astros do win the ALCS and move forward to the World Series, game six of the series will be happen in Houston. The game will happen on November 4 at Minute Maid Park, the same day when Rocket Man’s concert was supposed to happen. Meanwhile, the tickets were all sold out, but MLB had to cancel that concert for the stadium’s availability on November 4. As per the reports, the concert is not only canceled for that date but is also not going to be rescheduled.

Meanwhile, the Astros will be playing the World Series if they win against the New York Yankees or the Cleveland Guardians. The last game of ALDS was supposed to happen last night but got postponed because of inclement weather conditions.

MLB fans, after this change in the postseason, reacted as if they simply don’t care. While most are happy that they might get to see a potential World Series there.
