Alex Rodriguez is a legendary name in the world of baseball. From rocking the classic pinstripes, winning that world title, or clenching the MVP awards three times—he has done it all. But he fulfills another role, but that’s something outside the diamond–the role of a father. He has two daughters with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, Natasha born in 2004 and Ella born in 2008. Rodriguez recently shared a snippet about his trip to Michigan, where he dropped by to enjoy a game with his daughter. Rodriguez started the video by saying he had pre-game passes and captioned the post as “life as a college dad.” Well, the daughter’s father’s first stop was a furniture store, then Lululemon and Maxwell. But the shopping was not done, the last stop was Trader Joe’s. A-Rod said, “No game. I am starving. Why are we here?” Well, that’s what’s what girl dads do! But while Alex Rodriguez might have missed the games, the lighthearted moment was worth it. The video ends with A-Rod with several shopping bags walking weirdly—but at least he got quality time.
Rodriguez even spent his birthday this year with his daughters along the Mediterranean. The entire family from his daughters, his girlfriend, his uncle, and his parents everyone had planned a lovely surprise and Rodriguez had shared it on his social channel. Whether it’s a summer trip or a simple Saturday in Michigan, the dad in him surely cherishes every moment.
