The first case involved the damage to the dugout gate and temporary work done by the stadium authorities after that. Explaining the incident, the tweet read, “The lights in Dodger Stadium flickered after an RBI double by JD Martinez and almost caused another run to score.”

The incident happened in the fifth innings of the game when the Dodgers were in the lead. Though it did not cause many problems for the Giants. They even made a stronger comeback after this incident to win the game.

Both teams remained tied until the conclusion of the ninth innings. However, the game stretched to the 11th innings, wherein the Giants scored twice to pull the game in their favor. It was a complete team performance from the visiting side, as seven different players contributed a run each in the team’s comeback win.
