The World Series has moved into a unique paradigm, all thanks to the fighting spirit of the team’s Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks. Both teams have done amazingly to make it an even contest in the first two games. Though Texas is leading the series, D-Backs are not far behind, especially after the latest update that pushed the Rangers on the back foot.

Notably, the Rangers made it to the World Series, all thanks to Adolis Garcia. The outfielder played exceptionally well, hitting winning homers. It made him the perfect candidate for the World Series champion, but an injury has changed the course of action for him. He is out with an injury, and Ezequiel Duran has replaced him in the squad. However, given his accolades this postseason, will Duran be able to replace him completely?

The Rangers’ Adolis Garcia had an injury in the last game. Although he looked good for a start after a rest, the latest reports have changed the scenario as the Rangers have replaced him on the squad. According to Bob Nightengale, former New York Yankees player Ezequiel Duran has made it to the squad to replace Garcia. It seemed a great replacement, but why?.

Although Duran did not play exactly like Garcia, but had a fairly good 2023 season. He averaged 0.276 with 14 HRs and 46 RBIs to his credit, with an OPS of 0.768. However, the factor that went against him was his form at the end of the league stage.

The 24-year-old, in the last five appearances, could not make any hit and remained without any offensive contribution. It put him on the wrong side of the road, and though he has done decent since joining, fans still felt they would miss Garcia. They also did not show any indication of promise towards the recent addition.
