Arizona Diamondbacks rookie Brandon Pfaadt is on a journey of meteoric rise. Earlier this year, the 25-year-old rookie pitcher debuted in MLB, earning a place on the World Series roster with his impressive skills. However, the road was not easy as he suffered with his team in the regular season, but ultimately proved his worth in the postseason. Will he be able to continue his heroic journey in the World Series as well?
As the Fall Classic moves forward, both teams are changing equations to get the best of the other. While the Diamondbacks started their journey with a 6-5 defeat, they made a brilliant 9-1 return in Game 2. Of course, their offense and defense both sections contributed well to this win. But now it?s time to think if this will be continued to the next game as well.

Brandon Pfaadt is the latest addition to the D-backs. A rookie from Louisville, Kentucky, the rookie player’s family is just as baseball-oriented as him. Pfaadt’s grandfather, mother, and two brothers are all interestingly connected to sports. Following his brothers, the pitcher played at Trinity High School and at Bellarmine University before joining the Arizona team. However, the Snakes’ pitcher surpassed all given where he is today.
Arizona?s Game 2 starting pitcher was Merrill Kelly, and he did an incredible job on Saturday night. This has put extra expectation pressure on Game 3 starting pitcher Brandon Pfaadt. Though his family and friends are excited and confident about his World Series performance, this situation is equally tough for the player.
The NLCS fight was the biggest one for the young pitcher, but it’s about to get tougher as he takes the mound at Chase Field on MLB’s biggest platform. Amidst the rocky regular season, the 25-year-old has thrived and made his place among the rising players. In the 18 games as a starting pitcher, he ended up with 5.72 ERA and 1.41 WHIP. In the postseason, he pitched 4 games as a starting pitcher and continued his journey with a 2.70 ERA and 1.08 WHIP.
Notably, his former coach is greatly hopeful about the rookie pitcher?s ability to handle tough situations.
