Reagan Bregman (nee Howard) was born in Louisiana on August 26, 1994. Her nomadic childhood included globetrotting because her father was in the oil and gas industry. From Trinidad to Tobago to Spain and Canada, her early life was filled with adventures. But then, the family finally settled in Katy, Texas. It was at Texas A&M University that Reagan went ahead with her higher education. She even finished a degree in marketing back in 2017.

During university, she led a student brigade to Panama. With her entrepreneurial spirit, she helped the local businesses grow there.  After her post-graduation, she worked for some of the bigger conglomerates of the world, like Google and Oracle. Then Reagan Bregman took a leap of faith in the business world. Now, she runs her own Houston-based athleisure brand focused on ethical fashion. Not a simple baseball wife, ain’t it?

How long has Reagan been married to Alex Bregman: Peek into their love life

Reagan and Alex Bregman’s love story began like every other great Coolen Hoover love story—unexpectedly. While she was in Austin working for Google, Reagan made a trip to Houston for a weekend of fun with friends. It so happens that one of her friends was dating Bregman’s friend. So, like many other love stories, even theirs began with a bunch of fans hanging out and the start of a new love story. But it was all fate because she admitted later that she didn’t plan to go with her pals that night! Destiny, right?

And so the two hit it off from the get-go and went on a first date just a few days later. But this young, bubbly love had its fair share of challenges too. The major one? Distance. Since Alex Bregman’s MLB season started, she has had to make sacrifices and drive between Austin and Houston. Alex Bregman had shared with Knot, “She was driving back and forth every weekend, three hours there and back, waking up at 5 am to get to work. She was working her tail off and coming to see me.”

But Finally, she bit the bullet and chose to move back to Houston and commit.

Alex Bregman thankfully didn’t wait long to pop the “Will you marry me” question. On Jan 2020, in Aspen, Colorado, he proposed and shared the happy moment on socials. Later that year, they planned a grand wedding for their happy union in San Antonio. But again, there was a roadblock!

The pandemic! They had to pivot. So a small, intimate wedding at Reagan’s home on December 5, 2020, was it.

Bregman’s dad had a high risk of catching COVID so they opted for something very private. Later, Reagan, in an interview, mentioned, “Sometimes it becomes all about the decor and party, but with COVID, we had to limit it and be extremely careful. We were able to focus on what it’s really about, which was getting married.” Family first is the concept they both follow to heart.

What makes their bond special? All to know

One of the most endearing parts of Alex Bregman and Reagan’s relationship is how they have each other’s back. Quite literally! Reagan had mentioned, “I love Alex’s heart and how he’d give the shirt off his back to anyone. He makes everyone feel included and happy—that’s admirable and hard to find.”

Even Breggy feels the same way, “She cares: she’s willing to go above and beyond for the people she loves and is loyal. She’s hardworking, smart, and she literally does everything for me. She makes life better. Whenever I’m around her, she makes me happy.” But it’s not just the sweet words, their partnership is built on support.

Reagan has embraced Alex Bregman’s baseball career. So far she even learnt the sport herself. Bregman had once joked that when the two first met, Reagan “thought a double was two strikes.” But she quickly came up to speed. Over time, she has become an enthusiastic baseball fan, a supportive baseball wifey, and also a baseball mom! The couple had invited their son Knox Samuel in August 2022. And now Reagan cheers him on.

The couple’s family moments are often shared on social media, be it the Houston Astros win or a simple day in. Recently, Regan said she is busy keeping herself healthy and spending time with Knox. And Alex Bregman’s absence from her recent posts has fueled speculations about their relationship. But it might just be another false narrative online. Because the couple is expecting to grow from a family of three to four!

Yes, Reagan is expecting another young Bregman. So, healthy eating and some me-time might be her choice! Rest assured fans—they are very much together.
